China to Study Tens of Thousands of Blood Samples Taken in Wuhan in Autumn 2019: CNN

China will examine tens of thousands of blood samples taken in Wuhan city in the autumn of 2019 in search of the source of the coronavirus. Scientists will look for antibodies of COVID-19 to determine when the virus began spreading among humans. This information was reported by CNN, citing Chinese health authorities.

The samples are stored in the Wuhan Blood Center. Chinese officials explained that these samples could not be studied over the past two years as they might be needed as evidence in legal proceedings.
