13-Year-Old Stabs 51-Year-Old Man in Yerevan; Victim Transported to Astghik Medical Center
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, the investigation department of the Malatia police station is preparing materials regarding a stabbing incident that occurred in Yerevan on October 9.
On that day, around 9:00 PM, the Malatia police received a call from the Astghik Medical Center reporting that a citizen had been admitted with a "puncture wound to the abdominal wall."
As reported by Shamshyan.com, an operational group from the Malatia police, led by the head of the department, Andranik Meloyan, and the deputy head for operational matters, Alik Grigoryan, was dispatched to the hospital. The police determined that the victim was 51-year-old Shahen N., a resident of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan.
While doctors were providing medical assistance to the victim, the Malatia police, in collaboration with their colleagues from the criminal investigation department of the Yerevan police, established that on the same day, around 8:00 PM, during a dispute over household matters in the yard of building 108 on Andranik Street, Shahen N. was stabbed by 13-year-old Arsen S., a resident of Yerevan, with a knife in his possession.
The police located the suspect, transported him to the Malatia police station, where he was released after providing an explanation of the incident. The Malatia police are taking measures to locate the weapon used in the crime.
