Latvia Will Not Provide Benefits to Unvaccinated Seniors
In Latvia, unvaccinated pensioners have been deprived of benefits. This was reported by Delfi. It was noted that such a statement was made by the country's Prime Minister Kariņš Krišjānis.
Due to the rising costs of energy resources in Europe, a decision was made in Latvia to provide a benefit of 20 euros to senior citizens as compensation for the increase in utility bills. However, it was later revealed that only vaccinated seniors would receive these benefits.
According to the Prime Minister, the lives of elderly people are at risk given the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, and therefore they need motivation to get vaccinated.
