In Shirak Province, Daughter Kills Mother with Psychoactive Drugs, Attempts Suicide

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 104, Part 1 and Article 110, Part 1 of the Criminal Code in the Mush division of the Gyumri police.

According to Shamshyan.com, this case was opened on October 9 concerning the murder of 84-year-old Tsoghik Madoyan and the suicide attempt of 56-year-old Karine Madoyan, both residents of the Mush 2nd neighborhood of Gyumri.

On September 26, the Mush police received a call from the Gyumri ambulance station stating that the two individuals were transported to their facility from an apartment on 11th Street in the Mush 2nd neighborhood. Medical staff reported to the police that they were unable to provide explanations.

A few days later, on October 2, Ts. Madoyan died at the “Gyumri” medical center without regaining consciousness.

During the preliminary investigation, additional details came to light, leading to the opening of a criminal case concerning murder and attempted suicide.

According to the website's information, it has been determined that K. Madoyan, who is the daughter of the deceased Ts. Madoyan, forced her mother to consume a large quantity of psychoactive drugs, after which she also ingested several psychoactive substances herself.
