What Was the Outcome of the Armenia-Iceland Match?

In the 7th round of the World Cup 2022 qualifying Group J, the Armenian national team hosted Iceland.

The first half started with the visitors having territorial advantage, but then our team leveled the game. The opponent pressed more, yet there were not many dangerous moments. Goalkeeper Yurchenko was largely untroubled.

In the 35th minute, our team opened the scoring. Kamo Hovhannisyan finished off a play set up by Adamyan and Selarayan, putting our team ahead. This was Kamo's second goal in the national team.
