The Armenia Airline Yerevan-Moscow-Yerevan Flight Canceled
The Armenia Airline Yerevan-Moscow-Yerevan flight, scheduled for October 8 at 08:20, has been canceled. Armenia Airline has issued a clarification on this matter.
“Regarding the cancellation of flight NGT 932/931 Yerevan-Sheremetyevo-Yerevan scheduled for today at 08:20, we clarify that before the flight was to be carried out, the aircraft's crew discovered a technical issue during pre-flight inspection procedures. For safety reasons, the aircraft commander decided to cancel the flight, based solely on his and the technical staff's professional conclusions,” the airline stated.
This flight was supposed to carry 240 passengers to Moscow and back. The airline mentioned that tickets for 110 passengers have already been changed to tickets for the next flights. For 86 passengers, tickets have been purchased with other airlines. The payment for tickets has been refunded to 15 passengers. The airline's staff is still in contact with 29 passengers, awaiting their final decisions.
At the same time, the airline assured that all additional expenses related to the flight, including COVID-19 tests, hotel accommodations, and all transportation costs will be covered by them.
