Users of Instagram and Facebook Report New Outages
Users of Facebook and Instagram in several countries are once again complaining about outages affecting the operation of these social networks. This is corroborated by data from the Downdetector portal on October 5, as reported by Iz.ru.
The number of complaints about these issues has increased several times compared to Tuesday morning. Most frequently, users from the United States are experiencing difficulties with the services. Additionally, users from Russia, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, and other countries have also reported issues.
Nearly half of the complaints related to Instagram concern the functionality of the mobile app, about a quarter are occurring on the website, and the same amount relates to connection issues with the server. Facebook outages are mainly associated with the website.
On the previous day, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram experienced one of the most significant failures in their history, rendering the social networks and messenger inaccessible to users for more than six hours.
