Discussions are ongoing regarding a potential meeting between Pashinyan and Aliyev, with the Armenian leader set to negotiate with a man who has referred to him as a drunken clown. How do you envision the substantive part of that meeting? This was stated by the second President of Armenia and leader of the "Armenia" alliance, Robert Kocharian, during a press conference.

He noted that the Prime Minister and representatives of the government are not responding to Aliyev's statements because they are complexed, because they have lost, and it is possible that there are other reasons behind this that we are unaware of. "The only way to get out of this situation is for them to leave. Every meeting will be an additional humiliation for Armenia and our people," emphasized Robert Kocharian.

Addressing the detention of high-ranking military officials, Robert Kocharian remarked that various insinuations have been made in the past year regarding accountability and guilt for the war. According to the second president, there is an attempt to shift all the blame onto the army and our generals.

"This is not a case where I am excited about the actions of the army during the war, but the country is at war. The army has been left alone in this war. We need to understand who made those fundamental wrong decisions. If the initiator was the army, the General Staff, our generals, then that is one question. If these decisions were made by the government, by the Prime Minister, that is another question. I am now also seeing that there is an attempt to create a background that this is the result of corrupt, thieving generals," said Robert Kocharian, adding that when the government was awarding and promoting during the time of giving up lands, didn't they think about that?

In Kocharian’s opinion, these generals need to start speaking up and telling the truth, otherwise all the blame will rest on them.
