Iranians Continue to Exert Intense Pressure on Azerbaijan: Arman Abovyan

Former member of the National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia faction, Arman Abovyan, writes on his Facebook page:

“Iranians are continuing to exert intense pressure on Azerbaijan through all possible channels (military, diplomatic, analytical, political). Turkey remains relatively restrained in the current situation. Russia, for its part, is demonstrating a positive 'neutrality' towards the bellicose stance of the Iranians. The West is also not in a hurry. Israel is carefully observing the 'depth' of the Iranians' intentions from a distance. Azerbaijan has declared a state of emergency in its army and, alarmed, is trying to anticipate Iran's next moves. Meanwhile, Armenia, or more precisely our 'neo-super-hyper-peaceful' and overly adequate authorities, are busy hunting for 'positive signals' from Turkey and Azerbaijan and supposedly opening a 'peaceful era'.

PS: Let us simply remind our overqualified authorities that this regional 'kildim' revolves around the sovereign territory of Armenia (Syunik).”
