“Talks of a Corridor are Manifestations of Hybrid Warfare” - Aram Sargsyan

Aram Sargsyan, the leader of the Republic Party, wrote on his Facebook page: “1) The corridor is not mentioned in the November 9 document. 2) The Prime Minister of Armenia stated that there has been no discussion about the corridor and there cannot be one. 3) Both the West and Iran are against a corridor under Russian control. Russia, Iran, and China are firmly opposed to a corridor under Western control. The conclusion is that the possibility of a corridor does not exist at the moment, because geopolitical players have completely opposing approaches. Turkey wanted to form a six-member group to solve the issue in a closed framework. That did not work out; Georgia refused under Western pressure. Now Ankara is talking about a five-member group. This will not work either—Iran will not agree, because in any situation Turkey has two votes with Azerbaijan, Russia has two votes with Armenia, while it is left alone. Russia has not officially expressed support or opposition to the five-member group either, as this is a serious trade topic for it, and Armenia will not agree to the idea of a corridor under any circumstances without Georgia and without the status of Artsakh. The only remaining option is for Turkey to try and capture it by force, which is unlikely—Moscow and Tehran's reputation would be undermined, and therefore it could escalate into a serious war, which NATO, Israel, and the U.S. would not engage in, while Turkey is not one to take such steps alone...

Discussions of a corridor are clearly manifestations of hybrid warfare, and nothing more. Turkey wants a corridor, and we should send them where our strategic partner likes to send Belarus when they want internal Russian gas prices.
