The former president Mikhail Saakashvili has not crossed the border of Georgia, as announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia in connection with Saakashvili's visit to the country.

In the morning, Mikhail Saakashvili posted a message on social media hinting that he illegally entered the country and is already in Georgia.
However, later he released a video message in which he also mentions that he is in Batumi.
“This is my Batumi, I have missed it a lot, today my dream came true,” Saakashvili said in the video message.
