Hearing Loss, Dizziness, Fainting, Severe Cold: Coronavirus Symptoms Have Changed
This autumn, the symptoms of coronavirus have changed. Now, this illness can easily be confused with a cold or influenza in the initial stages. As reported by gazeta.ru, Russian doctors announced this news.
“The new symptom of coronavirus infection is a severe cold, which was not present before. Many believe this indicates that Covid-19 is becoming less dangerous, but that is not the case. The infection is becoming more aggressive. While previously pneumonia would develop by the seventh day of illness, now it begins on the third day,” representatives of the Trade Union of Medical Workers stated during a media briefing.
In addition, doctors have reported that Covid-19 patients may experience throat pain, high fever, as well as dizziness, hearing loss, and loss of smell. According to specialists, the fever resembles that of influenza, but lasts longer. Neurological symptoms are predominantly expressed: dizziness, headaches, severe weakness. And sudden changes in position may result in fainting. All these symptoms appear immediately, typically reaching their peak by the second day, and can last for weeks.
Experts indicated that symptoms such as abdominal pain and diarrhea have become more pronounced, and research has also revealed liver inflammation, which had not been observed before.
