Official Level Propaganda Pressure from Iran on the Dictator of Baku is Increasing: Vardan Voskanyan

The Iranian Minister of Internal Affairs Ahmad Vahidi has effectively addressed the people of Azerbaijan, emphasizing the shared religious ties with Iran. This was stated by Iranian studies expert Vardan Voskanyan on his Facebook page.

Voskanyan noted that the Iranian minister's assertion that "Azerbaijan is within the civilizational space of Islamic Iran, and they should take example from us" is essentially a call to the Azerbaijani people to carry out an Islamic revolution by drawing inspiration from Iran and to overthrow the dictator in Baku.

He expressed that the statements made by the Iranian official, particularly the claim that "the people of Azerbaijan are our people," are unlikely to inspire the Aliyev and Erdoğan regimes, as the ideological foundation of Baku-Ankara relations is based on the well-known concept of "one nation, two states."
