4 Million Dram Watch, Property in Greece: The Assets of the Minister of Justice
The Minister of Justice of Armenia, Karen Andreasyan, who seems to remember the importance of honesty and impartiality only after viewing a photograph of Nikol Pashinyan, possesses quite a considerable fortune.
In his asset declaration upon assuming office, it is noted that he owns one apartment, a gift received in 2012. However, in the same year, he also purchased a newly constructed property in the city of Dilijan in the Tavush region in accordance with Armenian legislation.
ArmLur.am has learned that in 2019, Karen Andreasyan acquired a property in the seaside community of Gerakini in Central Macedonia, Greece, with a bank deposit amounting to $51,800.
The Minister has declared that he possesses a watch valued at 4 million drams. This luxury item was gifted to him in 2017. His bank account balances total 3 million 840 thousand drams, 251 thousand euros, and 8,117 dollars. Andreasyan has 1.2 million drams in cash.
The declared income amounts to 17 million 583 thousand drams and 7,616 dollars. For instance, he received 8 million 837 thousand drams through the UN Development Program, 3 million 640 thousand drams from Mellat Bank, and 4 million 204 thousand drams from T&J Group.
