Turkey's influence on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh contributes to reconciliation in the region. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Sochi, as reported by RIA Novosti.

It is noteworthy that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Sochi on Wednesday. The Turkish leader's plane landed at Sochi International Airport at 12:15 local time, according to Anadolu Agency. Erdogan was greeted by Alexander Ruppel, the Deputy Governor of Krasnodar Territory, Sochi Mayor Alexey Kopaygorodsky, the Director of the State Protocol Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Igor Bogdashev, the Ambassador of Turkey in Moscow Mehmet Samsar, and the Turkish Consul General in Novorossiysk Firat Bayar, among others.

During the visit, Erdogan is accompanied by the head of the National Intelligence Organization Hakan Fidan, the head of the Presidential Communication Office Fahrettin Altun, and the President's spokesperson Ibrahim Kalin. The Presidential Communication Office of Turkey had previously announced that Erdogan's visit was organized at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin.

The leaders of the two countries are set to discuss bilateral relations and issues related to regional and international processes. They will also address the situations in Syria, Libya, and Afghanistan.
