61-Year-Old Man Jumps from Kiev Bridge in Yerevan

This morning, on September 29, a suicide occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 08:50, the emergency situations ministry’s rescue service received a call reporting that a citizen had jumped from the Kiev Bridge.

According to photo journalist Gagik Shamshyan, firefighters from Yerevan's Number 7 Fire-Rescue Squad, led by Commander Grigor Galstyan, arrived promptly at the scene.

A police operational group from the Mashtots division, headed by the interim acting chief Arkadi Sahakyan and the chief of the criminal investigation department Gevorg Poghosyan, also arrived rapidly.
