Why is Hayk Marutyan Carrying a Weapon?

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: "Representatives of the city hall have noticed that Mayor Hayk Marutyan is carrying a weapon. This has been particularly observed during the operational meetings of the city hall. It remains unclear what or who the once-beloved actor, now 'disconnected' from the authorities, is afraid of; his spokesperson, as usual, requested a written inquiry.

However, there have been discussions about Marutyan's paranoid state regarding security among those close to him. For instance, it is said that he no longer resides in his downtown apartment and has moved to another apartment in the Avan district. Essentially, Marutyan does not feel secure without the governmental team.

Despite not being considered a protected official under the law and lacking bodyguards, he can apply for and obtain a state-provided bodyguard if necessary and if there is a specific threat. Perhaps he does not trust the authorities regarding this issue as well."
