VIDEO: Stones Ejecting from 15-Year-Old Girl's Eyes in India
A 15-year-old girl in India has been causing concern among doctors and villagers for weeks. Her family claims that over the past two months, between 10 to 15 stones have been ejected from her left eye. International news outlets report that the formations do not resemble the stones that accumulate in the kidneys during illness; rather, they resemble ordinary pebbles.
In the beginning of the video, it is clearly visible that there is some kind of fragment under the girl's eyelid, which remains unnamed. However, when her eye is opened, a small stone falls out. Her relatives have several such videos. Yet, doctors are baffled as to how this could occur. Even in cases of urolithiasis, formations develop over years, while this young Indian girl has already produced a dozen stones in just two months.
Additionally, the footage makes it clear that the stones under her eyelids are causing her significant harm. What was preventing her from getting rid of them before they grew so large? Furthermore, judging by the video, removing the formation from the eye doesn’t seem to be particularly difficult.
After news of the stone-ejecting girl spread around the world, many received it with skepticism. What is the likelihood that her parents are placing stones under her eyelids? In 2014, a similar case affected 12-year-old Saadia Saleh from Yemen, reports Daily Star.
