VIDEO: Overhead Pedestrian Crossing Collapses in Russia, Casualties Reported

An overhead pedestrian crossing has collapsed in Russia. The incident occurred on the Perm-Yekaterinburg R-242 federal highway, according to HTB.

A MAN brand dump truck failed to lower its load, which resulted in it striking the crossing, causing the structure to collapse. A 'Gazelle' vehicle traveling in the opposite direction was also caught under the debris. Both drivers have been reported dead.

The highway is currently closed, and road police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
