I Warned and I Warn Again to Armenia: Another Statement from the Azerbaijani Dictator

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has threatened Armenia in an interview with 'FRANCE 24'.

"My words may sound harsh. I have warned and I am warning Armenia: any threat to our country will receive a tough response, and Armenia knows how we can respond. The Second Nagorno-Karabakh War showed that Armenia has no chance against us. We do not want to start a new war, we do not need it. But I believe it is now time to warn the Armenians not to think about revenge, but to think about the future," he said.

Aliyev called on Armenia to renounce its territorial claims against Azerbaijan, begin border delimitation and demarcation, and prepare for negotiations for signing a peace treaty. Additionally, Aliyev excluded the possibility of granting autonomy to Armenians living in Artsakh.

"As for discussions about autonomy, the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group are well aware of Azerbaijan's position. In the past, we offered the Armenians a certain degree of self-governance, but they always rejected this option. They only spoke of independence. And now, when the conflict is over, they are raising the issue of autonomy. However, our agenda does not include giving them any autonomy," Aliyev stated.
