European Council Initiates Negotiations with Armenia and Azerbaijan: Maria Burić
During a session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Maria Pejčinović Burić, the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, announced that the European Council has started negotiations with Armenia and Azerbaijan aimed at finding measures to establish trust between the parties.
“We have begun talks with Azerbaijan and Armenia aimed at building trust between the two countries,” Burić stated. She emphasized that one of the main factors in resolving the conflict is the construction of trust between the parties, and that efforts in this direction will continue if there are no objections from the sides.
