VIDEO: On Saturday, the enemy raised its flag in the Upper Shorzha area, says the Shorzha village head about the incident

Expert on Azerbaijan issues, Garnik Davtyan, posted a video on his Facebook page stating that the enemy has raised its flag in the Upper Shorzha area, emphasizing that Upper Shorzha has been "officially occupied" and the enemy is "pointing a finger" at the Armenian position located nearby.

In an interview with 168.am, the head of the Shorzha village, Artyom Yeranosyan, noted that the flag was raised by the enemy in their position on Saturday, September 25th.

“The enemy raised that flag near their trenches, where they had seized positions on May 12. They have neither retreated nor advanced. I still do not know if the Armenian side has lodged any complaints against this,” said the village head.

He also informed that the situation in the village is normal: “One could say that the situation is normal, but people live in a wartime condition.”

Recall that on May 12, the enemy breached the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and advanced several kilometers in the regions of Syunik and Gegharkunik, and they remain in those positions to this day. Several negotiations have been held in Syunik to persuade the enemy to retreat, but to no avail. The leaders and residents of the neighboring villages report that the enemy's soldiers have advanced with some maps and insist they have received orders from higher command to move forward, believing those areas are Azerbaijani.
