Turkey May Face a Challenge, Political Scientist Elaborates

The situation in northern Syria, particularly in Idlib, is escalating. This is a critical issue for Turkey. Political scientist Stepan Danielyan mentioned on his Facebook page: "If a Kurdish autonomy is established in Syria, similar to what has occurred in Iraq, supported by Russia and the United States, then Turkey's south would be surrounded by Kurdish autonomies, and this would become a significant example for the Kurds in Turkey, as well as an impetus for rising national consciousness. Official data indicates that 19 million Kurds live in Turkey, while unofficial estimates put the number at over 25 million," wrote the political scientist.
