Cleric, Soldier, and Pregnant Woman Lead Torchlit March in Stepanakert
In the capital of the Republic of Artsakh, Stepanakert, citizens held a torchlit march to honor the memory of those who died in the 44-day war. They marched towards the brotherly cemetery in Stepanakert to pay their respects to the victims, reports News.am.
The march was led by a cleric, a pregnant woman holding her child, and a soldier carrying the Artsakh flag. Participants carried a long flag of Artsakh, measuring several meters in length.
Earlier, we reported that the opposition 'Armenia' alliance had initiated a torchlit march from Yerevan's Garegin Nzhdeh Square to Yerablur to commemorate the fallen of the 44-day war. During the march, participants raised the flag of the Republic of Artsakh. The event proceeded in silence, with only the names of soldiers who died in the 44-day conflict being announced through a loudspeaker.
