Operational Response of Kosobokov and Its Effectiveness in Machkalashen

The attempt by the adversary to advance near the village of Machkalashen in the Martuni region of Artsakh last week resulted in Azerbaijani military personnel returning to their original positions after the intervention of Russian peacekeepers. This fact clearly demonstrated the effectiveness of General Kosobokov's operational response and that of the military personnel under his command, especially when the actions of both sides could have escalated into a more heated phase. It is evident that Kosobokov's assumption of the baton aimed at reducing tensions in the conflict zone allows for the maintenance of stability and thus earns the trust of the conflicting parties. Moreover, according to the news outlet, this has led to a reduction in the number of both Armenian and Azerbaijani positions, as well as personnel involved in combat duty in certain areas.

Clearly, the guarantee for the successful start of Kosobokov's activities in Artsakh lies in his Caucasian experience. He participated in the South Ossetian conflict in 2008, served as the commander of a Russian military base in Abkhazia from 2015 to 2017, and is currently the deputy commander of the 58th Army stationed in Vladikavkaz.

It is important to note that Major General Kosobokov combines his activities in Artsakh with his main position. He continues to serve as the deputy commander. Considering his age of 47 and the additional practical skills gained during the Artsakh peacekeeping exercises, General Kosobokov is well-positioned for a successful career ahead.
