Levon Ter-Petrosyan Hosts Former President of Kyrgyzstan
Today, the First President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, hosted the former President of Kyrgyzstan, Askar Akayev, at his residence. Akayev arrived in Armenia at the invitation of the Armenian State University of languages and social sciences to participate in a ceremony for the conferral of an honorary doctorate and to deliver a series of lectures.
This information was shared on the Facebook page of the spokesperson for the Armenian National Congress, Arman Musinyan. Ter-Petrosyan and Akayev have closely collaborated for about eight years in both the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and bilateral relations. Their connection has been particularly strengthened by the fact that both entered politics from the field of science.
