Citizen Blocks Neighbor's House Entrance with Metal Bars
For several days now, the main entrance door of a multi-member family living at 22 Cholakyan Street in Yerevan has been blocked. According to family members, the perpetrator of this act is their neighbor, Nara Aslanyan, who is attempting to claim the piece of land that is considered common use area on the cadastral map.
In an interview with Shamshyan.com, the homeowner, Lilya Gevorgyan, spoke from behind the metal bars and stated that they have appealed to the territorial police department, Yerevan City Hall, and the administrative district head's office regarding the issue. However, only representatives from the city hall have come today, and they provided no reassuring answers, while the others remain silent or are practicing an ostrich policy.
According to our interlocutor, a similar incident occurred a year ago, but at that time her late husband removed the bars and opened the way, for which a criminal case was initiated against him. The homeowner's son added that their Mrs. Nara claimed that everyone is aware of the situation and she can do whatever she wants.
They urgently requested a response from law enforcement agencies before any concrete measures are implemented.
