Traffic Police Officer Awarded for Neutralizing Perm Shooter
The head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, has awarded traffic police officer Konstantin Kalinin, who neutralized a shooter involved in an attack at Perm State National Research University. According to TASS, the official representative of the Investigative Committee, Svetlana Petrenko, reported this information.
Before the meeting, Bastrykin spoke with several of his staff members at the university, including the officer who immediately provided first aid to the victims of the shooting. According to Petrenko, the head of the Investigative Committee thanked them for their prompt action, efficiency, and coordination of efforts.
