Erdogan States That Azerbaijan Has Ended Occupation of Its Territories by Exercising Its Right to Self-Defense

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed the current situation in the South Caucasus during his speech at the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly. He announced that recent steps have been taken to ensure stability in the region.

“Azerbaijan, exercising its right to self-defense, has ended the occupation of its territories, as indicated in the long-untapped resolutions of the Security Council. This process allows for the creation of new opportunities for establishing sustainable peace in the region,” Erdogan stated.
