Azerbaijani Provocations Disrupt Armenia's Efforts to Establish Stability: Mirzoyan Meets with Lithuanian Foreign Minister
On September 22, during his participation in the 76th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two officials expressed satisfaction regarding the positive dynamics in the relationship between Armenia and Lithuania and reaffirmed their readiness to deepen existing cooperation through high-level dialogue.
During the meeting, the Foreign Ministers exchanged views on the broad agenda of Armenia-EU partnership and the technical assistance provided to Armenia by the EU.
They also addressed the situation created following the 44-day war, particularly the implications of Azerbaijani military units' incursions into Armenia's sovereign territory. Ararat Mirzoyan noted that Azerbaijan's provocative actions disrupt Armenia's efforts aimed at de-escalating the situation and establishing stability.
