It is noteworthy that the minister's mother had already been vaccinated with the 'Sputnik' vaccine, which, in fact, did not protect her from contracting the virus.

The media outlet contacted Minister Anahit Avanesyan, who was taken aback and stated in response to the inquiry, 'I am not going to say anything about such confidential information, and I deeply regret that the hospital did not adhere to our regulations regarding the legally established medical confidentiality.' Therefore, the minister neither confirmed nor denied the information.
