Man Arrested After Threatening to Blow Up House with Grenade

In the city of Almetyevsk, Tatarstan, which is part of the Russian Federation, emergency services responded to a call from a residence where an unknown man threatened to carry out an explosion with a grenade.

According to Life.ru, the suspect's wife contacted the police. She reported that her husband, who is a "former Afghan," was not behaving adequately, armed with a grenade and saying, "We will blow up together."

The woman managed to escape from the house, while negotiations began with her husband. Eventually, he was apprehended. Preliminary information indicates that he is being taken in for questioning to clarify the reasons for his actions.
