Independence Day Event Begins at Republic Square

The event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of independence has just begun in the Republic Square of Armenia. It commenced with the national anthem, after which the stage was handed over to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra and the Armenian State Chamber Choir will perform as part of the concert program.

Earlier, top officials, led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, visited the Yerablur Military Pantheon and paid tribute to the heroes of the Artsakh 44-day war and the four-day war.

Later, a ceremony honoring representatives from the fields of defense, security, law enforcement, culture, education, arts, sports, and other sectors took place at the presidential residence. Concurrently, units of the security forces conducted marches through various streets of the capital.
