Two Residents of Kasakh Who Crossed into Azerbaijani Territory Have Recently Returned Home
Two residents of Kasakh, who went missing on September 18 while traveling on the Goris-Kapan road and were returned the next day through the mediation of Russian border guards, have just returned home. This was reported to NEWS.am by one of the residents' brothers, Arman.
“Hakob and Aram returned in the same vehicle they took. They feel fine, everything is in order,” said Arman.
Previously, it was reported that the two residents of Kasakh had not yet returned home but had spoken with their relatives over the phone.
It is also noteworthy that the National Security Service had stated the day before that on September 18, around 21:00, information was received indicating that two residents of the Kasakh community in Armenia's Kotayk province had deviated from the main road while traveling along the Goris-Worotan route and ended up in an area controlled by Azerbaijan. Around midnight, the National Security Service reported that, as a result of efforts by the NSS and Russian border guards, at 23:45 the Azerbaijani side returned the individuals who had gone missing on the Goris-Worotan road segment.
