Identity of the Author of the Car Crash in Front of the Charbakh Police Station Revealed

The head of the investigation and administrative proceedings unit of the Traffic Police of the Yerevan battalion of the Armenian police, Grigor Avetisyan, assigned the senior investigator Hovhannes Sargsyan to lead the investigation group, who reported on the outcomes from an incident that occurred on September 19 in front of the Charbakh police station in Yerevan. The incident involved a major and chain car accident, during the investigation it was established the identity of the driver of the Infiniti, the injured transferred to the hospital, as well as the driver of the police vehicle.

According to Shamshyan.com, it was determined that the Infiniti was driven by Hmayak Mirzoyan, a 27-year-old resident of Yerevan. He underwent a sobriety test, which revealed he was under the influence and did not possess a driver's license. During the preparation of the materials, it was also discovered that a parked vehicle, involved in the accident, was driven by Gevorg Badeyan, a 29-year-old resident of Armavir region, who is the deputy head of the Charbakh police station.

As a result of the accident, both the driver of the Infiniti and his passenger, 38-year-old Sarkis Hambardzumyan, also a resident of Yerevan, were transported to the hospital. As reported earlier by a photojournalist on site, a large and chain traffic accident occurred in Yerevan on September 19. Around 05:30 AM, the Infiniti vehicle collided with a Mercedes, owned by 31-year-old Armik Parsyan, parked in a permitted area on Shirakan Street, along with an Isuzu owned by 59-year-old Avetik Ghukasian, a Nissan Bluebird owned by 26-year-old Karapet Araquelyan, a VAZ 2106 registered under the balance sheet of the Charbakh Police Station, and a Toyota Camry owned by 30-year-old Romik Avagyan. As a result of the accident, two individuals sustained bodily injuries and were transferred to the 'Erebuni' Medical Center.
