Any Unfounded Action Against Iran Will Face Devastating Response: Iranian Defense Minister

Iran's newly appointed Defense Minister, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiyani, has stated that any unfounded action by adversaries will result in a devastating response from Iran's armed forces.

"Iran has already demonstrated that its defensive capabilities and achievements based on modern technologies are directed solely at ensuring the security of the country, protecting its borders, and combating any potential threats or aggression," as reported by Iranian Tasnimnews through Infoteka24.

It is noteworthy that Iran is currently conducting military exercises near its border with Azerbaijan, following joint drills involving Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Pakistan, as well as the recent arrest of Iranian drivers along the Goris-Kapan road in Syunik.

In a related statement, the representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic in Ardabil, Ayatollah Ameli, has also urged the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to demonstrate half of their capabilities to Azerbaijan.
