Major Armenian Businessmen to Hold Conference in Yerevan

Major Armenian businessmen will hold a conference in Yerevan with the support of the Russian government. This information was revealed to Sputnik Armenia by the Armenian Businessmen’s Association, which is supported by the Tashir Group of Companies.

The conference will take place on September 20. Businessmen from Armenia and Russia will gather on a single platform to strengthen their ties and lay the groundwork for new projects.

The opening of the conference is expected to feature speeches by Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan, Minister of High Technology Industry Vahagn Khachaturyan, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Dmitry Volvach, and General Director of the Russian Export Center Veronica Nikishina.

From the private sector, Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KamAZ Corporation, Daniil Algulyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Vnesheconombank, and Samvel Karapetyan, President of the Tashir Group of Companies, are expected to speak. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is also anticipated to address one of the discussions.

It is noteworthy that Russia is the largest investor in Armenia, with a share of over 35% of total investments.
