Armed Attack on Vehicle: Azerbaijani Soldiers Stop Food Delivery to Soldiers in Vorotan

Yesterday, Azerbaijani soldiers stopped a vehicle delivering food to soldiers on the Vorotan section of the Goris-Kapan road. This was reported by Goris Deputy Mayor Karen Kocharyan in a conversation with Lurer.com.

"They did not demand money, but they acted extremely insolently. They hit the vehicle with weapons, opened the doors, and roughly searched the vehicle, but our guys did not get out of the car," said Karen Kocharyan.

The Deputy Mayor mentioned that the Azerbaijani soldiers stopped the vehicle for about 10-15 minutes until the Russian border guards arrived. "The vehicle proceeded with the escort of Armenian and Russian border guards because the driver refused to go without an escort," the deputy mayor stated.
