All Streets Leading to Republic Square Will Be Closed Due to Independence Day: Schedule

To ensure the safety of participants in the events organized for the 30th anniversary of Armenia's Independence, all streets leading to Republic Square will be closed starting from 5:00 PM on September 20.

On September 21, from 3:00 PM until the completion of the event, streets leading to Republic Square will be closed, including Abovyan Street from the Abovyan-Tumanyan intersection, Nalbandyan Street from the Nalbandyan-Tumanyan intersection, Republic Street from the Republic-Tumanyan intersection, Vardanants Street from Sakharov Square to Vardanants Deadlock, Aram Street from the Khanzhyan-Aram intersection to Nalbandyan Street, Tigran Mets Avenue from the Tigran Mets-Khanzhyan intersection, Vazgen Sargsyan Street from Shahumyan Square, Amiryan Street from the Amiryan-Mashtots intersection, and Buzand Street from the Buzand-Mashtots intersection.

From 8:00 PM onward, citizens will also have restricted access to the following addresses: Vardanants Street from the even address range of 2 to 16, 16/1, 16/2, odd addresses from 5 to 11, 11/4, and adjacent buildings; Republic Street from the odd address range of 59 to 67, even address range of 58 to 70, and adjacent buildings; Printing House Street from the odd addresses 3 to 5A, and adjacent buildings; Nalbandyan Street from even addresses 46 to 50, and adjacent buildings including 50/1, 50/2, 50/3.

Access to Republic Square will be allowed from 6:00 PM. We kindly urge and recommend our citizens to remove their vehicles from the specified areas during these days and times.

Additionally, on the same day, as part of the events for the 30th anniversary of the Republic of Armenia's independence, parades of law enforcement units will be held on several streets of the capital, which will limit traffic in the following areas:

On September 21, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Gay Street will be closed from the Gay Avenue-Gyulikevkhyan intersection to the Gay Avenue-Totovents-Nanseni intersection.

From 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Garegin Nzhdeh Street will be closed from the Garegin Nzhdeh-May 9 street intersection to Garegin Nzhdeh Square.

From 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, Mashtots Avenue will be closed from France Square to the Mashtots-Amiryan intersection.

From 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Tigran Petrosyan Street will be closed from the Tigran Petrosyan-Sasna Tsrer intersection.

From 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Freedom Avenue will be closed from the Lambada Bridge to the Freedom-Babayans intersection.

From 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Erebuni Street will be closed from Erebuni Square to the Erebuni-Liberation Street intersection.
