Rapid response teams from the second battalion's third platoon of the Yerevan patrol police, led by Battalion Commander Levon Badalyan, quickly arrived on the scene.
The police discovered the injured individuals: 67-year-old Aramais Badalyan, 23-year-old Erik Simonian, and 26-year-old Tigran Grigoryan in the area. The Yerevan 1-03 emergency medical team promptly transported the injured patients to Astghik Medical Center.
Several citizens gathered at the scene refused to speak on camera, stating, “To be honest, we don’t know the circumstances, who and who carried out the stabbings. We only saw the Yerevan police officers pulling out bandages from their vehicles and rushing to the injured.” The patrol officers from the second battalion's third platoon, Garegin Madatyan and Hrayr Sanosyan, arrived quickly. They bandaged the wounded and provided first aid before assisting in transporting them to the ambulances.
Additional police presence followed shortly after the initial response. The investigative team from the Malatia-Sebastia investigative division of the Yerevan Investigative Committee, led by Head Hrachya Ghazaryan and senior investigator Mikayel Baghdasaryan specializing in prominent cases, arrived on-site as well.
