Children of Levon Sargsyan, Brother of Serzh Sargsyan, Sue the Prosecutor General's Office

The daughter of Levon Sargsyan, brother of Armenia's third President Serzh Sargsyan, Ani Sargsyan, and his son, Narek Sargsyan, have filed petitions at the Administrative Court of Armenia against the Prosecutor General's Office, challenging the decision to investigate their property.

Specifically, the Sargsyans are demanding the annulment of the decision made by prosecutor Davtyan of the property confiscation division of the Prosecutor General's Office on October 7, 2020, regarding the initiation of an investigation concerning their property.

According to Factinfo, the petitions were submitted to the court on September 14, one of which, filed by Ani Sargsyan, has been assigned to Administrative Court Judge Daniel Danielyan, while Narek Sargsyan's petition has been assigned to Judge Arthur Avagyan.
