Every 1 in 10 Vaccinated Individuals Will Receive a Ticket to Cultural Events Valid Until Year-End
The system for providing tickets to cultural events and institutions for vaccinated individuals is now ready. The program, being carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, has reached the initial phase. Tickets to theaters, the Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts (Matenadaran), the National Gallery, and various museums will be distributed to those vaccinated.
This information was shared with “Armenian Time” by the spokesperson for the Minister of Health, Hripsime Khachatryan. She noted that one ticket will be given for every 10 vaccinated individuals, allowing them to visit the aforementioned cultural centers on their preferred date and time until the end of the year. “We hope that with the tickets we have provided, or rather, raffled off, citizens will be able to enjoy an enriched day,” Khachatryan stated.
It is worth mentioning that the acting Minister of Health, Anahit Avanesyan, had announced back on July 26 that citizens vaccinated against COVID-19 in Armenia would receive tickets to theaters, operas, and cultural events through a lottery system.
