Car Explodes in Yerevan Moments Ago

A significant incident occurred moments ago in Yerevan, as reported by shamshyan.com.

Under still unclear circumstances, an explosion happened in a Nissan Versa vehicle near the "15-quarter calcevia" known to the public, in front of the "Guava" shopping center on Bashinjaghyan Street.

According to eyewitness reports from photojournalist Gagik Shamsyan at the scene, two individuals have been transported to the "Armenia" medical center as a result of the explosion, and the vehicle has become inoperable.

Emergency responders from the 7th Fire and Rescue Unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived promptly.

Emergency medical teams were also quick to act, providing treatment to the injured before the police ascertain the identities of the driver and the victims.

Preliminary information suggests that the explosion was caused by the car's gas cylinder, which is currently under investigation.
