Government Decision on Announcing Training Gatherings Takes Effect Tomorrow

On September 12, the government decision regarding the announcement of training gatherings will come into effect, which was adopted on September 2.

“Guided by part 2 of article 58 of the Republic of Armenia law on 'Military Service and the Status of Military Personnel', the Government of the Republic of Armenia has decided:

1. To announce training gatherings for reserve soldiers registered in the first category of the reserve forces—private, non-commissioned officers, and officers—for a period of three months from September 15 to December 15, 2021.
2. The training gatherings are announced for citizens registered in the reserve for: 1) improving military capabilities; 2) specialized retraining; 3) specialized training; 4) preparation of reserve officers with higher education.
3. To involve up to 869 citizens in the training gatherings, of whom 576 will be privates, 107 will be non-commissioned officers, and 186 officers from the reserve.
4. It is established that participants in the training gatherings will be: 1) Up to 98 reservists with motorized rifle specialties, including 26 reservists from September 20-29, 2021, 27 reservists from September 22 to October 1, 2021, 9 reservists from October 18-27, 2021, 18 reservists from November 1-10, 2021, 9 reservists from December 1-10, 2021, and 9 reservists from December 6-15, 2021. 2) Up to 400 reservists with artillery specialties, including 24 reservists from October 14-23, 2021, 201 reservists from October 27 to November 5, 2021, and 175 reservists from November 3-12, 2021. 3) Up to 13 reservists with air defense specialties, including 5 reservists from November 1-10, 2021, and 8 reservists from November 8-14, 2021. 4) Up to 75 reservists with communication specialties, including 71 reservists from November 8-17, 2021, and 4 reservists from November 29 to December 5, 2021. 5) Up to 149 reservists with reconnaissance specialties, including 129 reservists from September 15-24, 2021, and 20 reservists from September 20-29, 2021. 6) Up to 14 reservists with electronic warfare specialties from October 25-31, 2021. 7) Up to 24 reservists with engineering specialties from September 15-21, 2021. 8) Up to 67 reservists with technical specialties, including 27 reservists from October 25-31, 2021, and 40 reservists from November 8-14, 2021. 9) Up to 22 reservists with logistics specialties from November 8-14, 2021. 10) Up to 7 reservists with geographic specialties from November 15-24, 2021.

This decision takes effect on the tenth day following its official publication.
