Giant Dried Maple Poses Danger to Kindergarten Students
In recent days, the republic, including the capital, has witnessed incidents where trees have fallen due to strong winds, damaging roofs, cars, and downing power lines. It is no secret that there are many trees in the capital that pose a danger and are decades old. However, it remains unclear when local authorities will take action to remove these seriously hazardous trees.
In the Central administrative district of the capital, a giant, dried maple tree in the yard of Kindergarten No. 2 has become a true scourge for residents. Citizens who contacted Shamshyan.com, including parents of kindergarten students, are urging the Yerevan municipality to remove the tree at least in the short term, considering that a few days ago, a giant tree nearby fell due to strong winds and damaged two cars.
