VIDEO: Who is the Blogger That Filmed David Babayan and How Did He "Invade" the Artsakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs?

A video posted by a Russian blogger four days ago on TikTok and Instagram has sparked a wave of discussions. The footage shows the blogger storming into the Artsakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs building, entering a meeting room where Foreign Minister David Babayan is holding a consultation, and posing for a photo with him.

However, it has been clarified that the blogger who "invaded" the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh actually carried out the filming with prior agreement from Foreign Minister David Babayan. Both the blogger and Babayan have provided explanations regarding the incident.

In a conversation with ArmDaily, David Babayan stated: “I want to reassure everyone and say the following: it is obvious that no one can enter the Ministry of Foreign Affairs whenever they want, wherever they want. This is evident, after all, it’s quite clear. Now, if some people do not have knowledge, that’s why they say it that way—that’s a different issue. What did this young man do? This young man has one million followers; he wrote in his blog, ‘I am in Artsakh, I am in Stepanakert, I am entering the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, look at this advertisement.’ Set everything aside—right now, we are not going to detail it for people who either do not understand or do not want to understand. I believe my explanation will address many points that need to be addressed. Everything is normal—there is no reason for concern whatsoever,” said Babayan.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh noted that the blogger, who is not of Armenian nationality, refers to Artsakh, Stepanakert, and shows the Artsakh flag, saying that this is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “And it turns out that both Azerbaijanis are dissatisfied, as this person has been put on a blacklist, and Armenians are also dissatisfied—this is the abnormality,” he added.
