After occupying the highest leadership positions in law enforcement agencies for about 45 years, Agvan Hovsepyan has not been accused of any violations related to his service activities. This statement was made by A. Hovsepyan's lawyer, Gagik Khachikyan.

“Just recently, Agvan Garnik Hovsepyan has been designated as a defendant (specialists will understand the sarcasm). The investigator is preparing to apply to the court for a detention measure. It is critically important that after nearly 45 years in the highest leadership positions in law enforcement agencies, no violations related to his service activities have been attributed to him. The prosecution has made an unsuccessful attempt to present the business activities of his mature sons as a result of Mr. Hovsepyan's patronage. Two 'sugar silva' individuals have been found, who took on the role of the corresponding tools and provided the required emptiness to the investigation.
