Fatal Head-On Collision Between Mercedes and VAZ 2107 in Armavir Region

Today, September 7, a severe and tragic car accident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 5:00 PM, a head-on collision took place between a Mercedes and a VAZ 2107 vehicle on the highway connecting Yerevan and Armavir, in the administrative territory of the village of Mayisyan.

According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, one person died on the spot, while another sustained injuries and was taken to the 'Metsamor' Medical Center. Bystanders first provided assistance to the injured individual, and the doctors from the Metsamor hospital acted promptly. The injured person was accompanied to the hospital by Colonel Grigor Poghosyan, commander of the first battalion of the second police regiment.

The police and investigative department are working to establish the identities of the drivers, the deceased, and the injured. Photojournalists report that the VAZ 2107 was loaded with agricultural products, which spilled across the road, creating further complications.
