No Documents Submitted for Participation in Gyumri City Council Elections

Political parties and alliances are in no rush to announce their participation in the Gyumri City Council elections. According to Armenpress, the period for submitting nominations to participate in the Gyumri City Council elections began on September 2, but as of now, the territorial electoral commission has received no documents.

The City Council elections in Gyumri will take place through a proportional representation system. The elections will be coordinated by the number 31 territorial electoral commission. There will be 82 voting stations operating in Gyumri. The pre-election campaign will commence on September 22 and will last until October 15, inclusively.
