Change of Combat Duty Personnel in Police Forces
Another change of combat duty personnel took place in the police forces. The commander of the police forces, Hayk Babayan, wished the soldiers departing for the Tavush border posts a successful and safe service. He noted that the border police officers perform a patriotic duty by protecting the state border and maintaining public order within the country.
Father Vrtanes Bagumyan recited the Lord's Prayer, after which the police officers took an oath to selflessly guard the combat position of the state border. The ceremony concluded with a formal march.
The next day, soldiers from another unit of the police forces returned from the same posts. They were welcomed by the command staff, fellow officers, and relatives. Hayk Babayan expressed gratitude to the officers for their selfless service and presented awards to a group of servicemen who distinguished themselves during combat duty.
The event concluded with a solemn march of the border police officers.
